Public (Political) Service Announcement

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past six months, you know that tomorrow, Tuesday, November 2nd, is election day. While we vote every year for something (or so it seems), tomorrow's election is headlined by the Presidential election between George W. Bush and what's-his-name Kerry. If you haven't figured it out already with the link to "Blogs for Bush" on the left hand side of this page, the author of this blog is voting for Bush. However, I'm not here to influence your political decision. I will not ramble on and on about the pros and cons of both candidates. I will not include links to the various websites that talk about what each candidate is supposedly lying about either. I will not condemn you if you're voting for "the other candidate."

What I will do is encourage you to simply vote. Express yourself as an American and exercise the right to vote. And when you go to the polls, consider where your candidate stands on the real issues. Or at least the real issues as analyzed by Paul Davidson at "Words for My Enjoyment." For a little political humor, check out his post on Bush vs. Kerry, where you'll find a comprehensive look at who will win the election based on the issues that matter to the American public. (And if you believe what I'm writing here, you really haven't checked out Paul's website before, have you? Go ahead click on the link, any one of the three of them.)
